This morning has been an odd mashup of seasonal experiences.

Overcast skies replete with clear blue “windows” visible through puffy clouds — a scene reminiscent of late spring.  A chilly dampness in the air that makes me yearn for wool scarves, roaring fires, and mugs of spiced cider.  Blooming flowers and lush foliage exploding in size and color thanks to all of the rain we’ve had.

Adding to the confusion, I’m wearing wool trousers, a paisley print blouse, and my favorite plush wool cardigan, with my signature summer scent (Japanese Cherry Blossoms).  I’m afraid I may walk out of the office at the end of the day expecting to see snow falling over a sunny beach.
